FLUX is the sound of unrest: raw, cinematic music that shifts from hope to protest. Sharp melodies and fractured rhythms turn into fearless statements against a world growing colder and more divided.

FLUX is the sound of a world in motion. Led by saxophonist and composer Willem Abelen, the band first appeared with a debut album that placed hope at the center: melodies that rose above chaos, cinematic soundscapes that offered light in uncertain times.

But hope does not exist without resistance. With their new work, FLUX turns from reflection to protest. The music is rawer, sharper, more urgent, with melodies that refuse to settle and rhythms that fracture and collide. It is music born from anger at the current state of the world, a cry against fascist world leaders and the growing coldness of society, where too many minds are clouded with anger and captive to hate.

FLUX thrives on contrasts: tenderness against noise, stillness against explosion, ritual against revolt. Every performance becomes a space of confrontation and connection, a storm where audiences are invited not only to listen but to feel.

With a powerful line-up consisting of Willem Abelen (soprano & tenor sax), Delaney Nelom (piano), Tom Veltien (guitar), Freek Mulder (double bass) and Yordi Petit (drums), the band crafts music as fearless as necessary. From hope to protest, FLUX is a soundtrack for our restless times.
